Who I am
I’m a Korean artist with a background in printmaking and over 20 years of experience in the visual effects industry. My journey began in fine arts, studying printmaking at university in Korea, where I fell in love with the power of imagery to tell stories and evoke emotion. After two decades working behind the scenes of films and visual media, I felt a calling to return to something more tactile, personal, and enduring.
Today, I create hand-crafted pottery plates, each one painted with animals that carry a sense of life, spirit, and quiet charm. My work blends the precision and visual language I developed in VFX with the softness and imperfection of handmade craft — no two pieces are ever the same.
Through my plates, I hope to offer something more than function: a moment of stillness, a touch of beauty, and a connection to the warmth of something made by hand.
